The Great Smoky Mountains Curling Club recently took Knoxville by storm, bringing the thrilling sport of curling to two exciting events sponsored by the City of Knoxville. With tents set up at Chilhowee Park and the Regal Celebration of Lights, the club made sure to leave a lasting impression on the community.
At both events, the Great Smoky Mountains Curling Club not only answered countless questions about the fascinating world of curling but also delighted attendees with engaging demonstrations of floor curling. Enthusiastic kids and even some adults had a blast trying their hand at this unique sport, learning the art of strategy and finesse while having a ton of fun.
This remarkable outreach wouldn't have been possible without the support and sponsorship of the City of Knoxville. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the city for inviting us to be a part of these fantastic gatherings, providing us with a platform to introduce the joys of curling to a wider audience.
We would also like to give a huge shout-out to our dedicated club volunteers who tirelessly staffed the tents, answering questions, and guiding eager participants. Your passion for curling and commitment to sharing it with others truly made a difference.
Last but certainly not least, a special thanks goes out to Bob Zasowski for his exceptional coordination efforts that ensured the success of both events. Your dedication to promoting curling within the community is deeply appreciated.
As the Great Smoky Mountains Curling Club continues to grow and inspire, we look forward to future opportunities to bring this captivating sport to even more events and communities.
